Google Analytics Update

Google has announced that on July 1, 2023, they will no longer be supporting Universal Analytics. All websites must be updated to the new Google Analytics 4 Property. Eventually, all old analytics accounts will no longer be accessible and all old data will be lost.

BMD&M will be updating our clients’ analytics accounts this summer in order to build historical data for when the old property is no longer accessible. This will entail switching over to the new property and exporting reports of data stored in the old version. The cost for a standard switch and general report export will be billed at the flat rate of $425. This will include:

  • Reports covering: 2018 – 2022 (2018 data will be shared if data exists in GA)
  • Carrying over filters and goals: includes 2 goals and 3 filters
  • Year over year reports for the following:
    • General Overview
    • Acquisition Overview
    • Site Content (Top 100 pages only)

If you do not need reports and would like us to switch your analytics over, the cost will be $95 (given you do not need any “events” or “filters added” to your new analytics).

If you are looking for additional customized reports, if your site uses Google Tag Manager or if you have more customizations in your Google Analytics account than what is mentioned above, we can evaluate and provide a custom estimate. Reach out to BMD&M with any questions or complete the form below to register your site.
