Keeping Babies Safe is founded by Joyce Davis, a mother who lost her child out of tragedy, and is devoted to providing education and advocacy in the development of safe infant sleep products and practices.
We partnered again with Craneco. Studio to develop a professional, credible website for her client, focused on banning supplemental crib mattresses and unsafe baby products to limit accidental infant deaths. As mothers, this project was especially meaningful to us, giving us the opportunity to make a difference by helping to spread the message effectively. Craneco. provided a beautiful design with some intricate details, and our role was to bring it to life with precision and care.
The design included impactful banner images and parallax scrolling features to create engaging, modern effects to enhance the user experience without compromising performance. Many images were carefully designed to fade seamlessly into the background, creating an immersive experience.

Our trained design brain lends us the expertise to code pixel perfect layouts — we were able to develop these desktop features as Craneco. envisioned with limited back and forth revisions. We then designed a mobile-friendly version of the site for a seamless translation.

Craneco.’s layout features strategically designed elements spread throughout the site to highlight key information and inspiration, making content easy to digest. Banner images also featured various text and image treatments. This distinctive layout couldn’t be achieved with out-of-the-box features alone, so we leveraged creating custom WordPress Blocks along with some CSS coding. The result is a unique, engaging presentation that remains easy for the client to update.
With the need to move away from Paypal, we recommended the integration of Give Lively to support the organization’s work and encourage donations. The site’s functionality also includes media downloads for press and informational materials, as well as general contact forms — all built to make it simple for visitors to engage, contribute, and access key resources.
We were extremely proud to have contributed to this foundation which has played a key role in getting legislation passed to ban unsafe baby products and save babies lives.
